Johnny M. Brown
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Johnny Brown is the visionary behind Gazelle Link LLC. As Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Brown has 20 years of managerial and industry experience making him a powerful leader in the telecommunications industry. He brings to Gazelle Link the wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion that will make Gazelle Link the leader of the the next telecommunications revolution. With Gazelle Link, Mr. Brown has designed and implemented a hybrid VoIP network, implemented the first statewide VoIP network in Iowa, and grown revenue in one quarter that equaled the previous years total revenue.
Mr. Brown graduated from the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa with a Bachelors of Business Administration. He began his professional carreer with General Mills as the National New Product Start-up Director. In this capacity Mr. Brown expanded product efficiencies by over 100%, led management training in Kepnor Tregoe Analysis, and was the director of new packaging concepts. Mr. Brown moved on to serve as the President and CEO of two firms where he patented the Information Kiosk and succesfully created an international market for the Information Kiosk. Mr. Brown also invented and managed the creation of an interactive internet based television dietary system for hospitals which was purchased by the United States Army. Throughout Mr. Brown’s professional accomplishments he has maintained his commitment to God, family, church, country, and community.
Pong Cavan
Chief Technology Officer
Pong Cavan is the Chief Technology Officer for Gazelle Link, LLC. Mr. Cavan is responsible for managing the corporation’s technology infrastructure. Mr. Cavan is actively involved in all aspects of the infrastructure, from planning and implementation to the ongoing health of the service platforms and networking infrastructure. Mr. Cavan keeps Gazelle Link technology running at optimum performance. Throughout his career, Mr. Cavan has been at the forefront of networking technology and has influenced the communications industry tremendously with innovative products that have been very successful in the marketplace.
Prior to joining Gazelle Link, Mr. Cavan was the Vice President of Research and Development for JM Best Corporation. In this position, Mr. Cavan developed software and managed Internet based interactive dietary food ordering system for hospitals. Mr. Cavan managed the network deployment, overseeing all aspects of the network design, implementation and network health.
Mr. Cavan holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Iowa.
Sheryl Dlask
Vice President of Quality Control and Management
With over 20 years of experience in technology support, Sheryl Dlask leads Gazelle Link’s Quality Control and Management functions. Mrs. Dlask is uniquely qualified to ensure that customers have a phenomenal experience with Gazelle Link telecommunication solutions and services. Prior to working at Gazelle Link, Mrs. Dlask has held several senior leadership roles in general management, operations, customer service, and strategy.
Matthew Lewis
Vice President of Global Services
With over 10 years of experience managing technical projects, strategic planning and process design, Matthew Lewis has held a diverse range of positions within the technology industry. Mr. Lewis is responsible for global network planning and deployment, network and access management, network operations centers, field operations, service activation, and Gazelle Link integration services. Utilizing his experience in operations and IT management, Mr. Lewis is now focused on day to day operations with significant involvement in customer and vendor relationships.
Prior to Gazelle Link, Mr. Lewis has worked with a number of companies ranging from small regional to Fortune 500 as well as founding a successful consulting business. Over Mr. Lewis’s distinguished career, he has compiled a strong record of achievement combining skills in many different areas of network and application development, project management, and through building partnerships with business departments.
Aaron J. McLeod, Esq.
Executive Assistant &
General Counsel
Aaron J. McLeod is the Executive Assistant to the Chairman and CEO, and General Counsel for Gazelle Link, LLC. As a seasoned transactional attorney, Mr. McLeod handles and supervises all of the corporation's legal work, addressing issues relating to contracts, compliance, disputes, employment, intellectual property, marketing, and many others. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and State of Iowa. In light of Mr. McLeod’s business acumen, he directs and assists with the development and implementation of business functions and strategies.
Prior to joining the management team at Gazelle Link, Mr. McLeod worked as a corporate attorney and lobbyist with Querrey & Harrow, Ltd., a mid-size Chicago law firm. Additionally, Mr. McLeod has worked as a prosecutor in Johnson County, IA, as a judicial officer for The University of Iowa, as a major gift fundraiser with the United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta, and as an aide to Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr. on Capitol Hill and Councilman Jim B. Maddox of the Atlanta City Council.
Mr. McLeod earned the Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Iowa College of Law. As a law student, Mr. McLeod distinguished himself as a Law Opportunity Fellow, a Thurgood Marshall Fellow, and as a staff writer for the Journal of Transnational Law and Contemporary Problems. Mr. McLeod earned the Master of Divinity degree from Harvard University’s School of Divinity. The concentration of his degree was Leadership, Public Policy, and Community Based Ministry. While at Harvard, Mr. McLeod completed half of his degree requirements at Harvard Business School, the Kennedy School of Government, and the Sloan School of Management at MIT. Mr. McLeod earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. Mr. McLeod spent his junior year at Lancaster University in Lancaster, England where he studied in the University ’s School of Management.
